Hercules was born out of the relationship of Zeus, the most unfaithful husband of all time, to Alceme, a mere mortal. Zeus thought that a mortal woman's milk could not feed his demigod son. However, since he could not go to his wife Hera and ask him to breastfeed his illegitimate child, he began to think of other ways. Zeus waited for Hera to sleep and placed his son Hercules on Hera's breast to drink his milk while Hera was sleeping deeply. However, Hera woke up with Hercules on her chest and threw the baby as she grabbed it. Her milk scattering from her breasts formed the Milky Way galaxy, and a few drops falling to the earth formed lily flowers.
